Episcopal Campus Ministry

Who we are

Episcopal Campus Ministries (ECM) welcomes all undergraduate students to join us each Tuesday in fellowship and the sharing of a home-cooked meal. We welcome any person regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, level of ability, or beliefs. Our program and services are based in the Episcopal teachings, but we believe these can be interpreted in a variety of ways. Our meetings are frequently discussion based, allowing room for multiple insights and important knowledge sharing.

What we do

There are tons of fun and exciting things to do in our community! In addition to meeting each week with program and dinner, we also go on an annual beach trip at the start of the fall semester, take exciting and rewarding spring break trips either locally or abroad (last year, we learned about our Anglican identity in London!), and do regular service projects and outings as a community.

Where we meet

Chapel of the Cross, we are located at 304 E. Franklin St. (right beside the Morehead Planetarium!). Our usual meeting space is in the campus center. To get there, enter through the front door and walk straight back towards the wooden doors (the parlor). Turn left here, and walk up the three steps and through the double doors behind them. The campus center is at the end of this hallway on your right! Check the maps below if you need help finding them! In addition to being our meeting space, the campus center is also a great place to study, hang out, eat snacks in our stocked kitchen, or watch a UNC basketball game with your Episco-pals!

When we meet

Tuesday nights at 5:30, followed by a home-cooked meal at 6:30!

Our first program of the year is Tuesday, August 21 at 5:30 PM. We will meet in the courtyard in the front of the church for games and conversation, followed by a FREE home-cooked meal.

If you have a student coming to UNC in the fall and would like to refer them to our chaplain so we can make contact, please fill out this form.
