UPCOMING MUSICAL EVENTS: New Choir Season Begins
Junior Choir begins rehearsals on Wednesday, August 26, 4:15-6:30. Supper at 6:00. Open to all young people in grades 3-12. Compline resumes on Sunday, August 30 at 9:30 p.m. in the Church, with Gregorian chant, renaissance polyphony, timeless words, incense, candles with fellowship afterwards. The Cantus Choir for first and second graders will hold its first rehearsal on Wednesday, September 2, from 4:15-5:30 in rooms 4 and 5 in the Parish Houser. Our new director is Elizabeth Terry. Call Dr. Quinn for more details. The Senior Choir has several openings for 2009-2010 and new members are welcome. Contact Dr. Quinn for more information. The first rehearsal of the new season will be held on August 2 at 7:30. The Compline Choir has several openings. Contact Dr. Quinn for more information. First rehearsal at 8:00 p.m. on August 30 and thereafter at 8:30. The Parish Choir of adults sings twice a month at the 5:15 service. The first rehearsal will be held in the Choir Room on Monday, September 14, at 7:00 p.m. There are openings for all voice parts, and no audition is required. Contact Dr. Quinn for more information.
